Best Utility Vise for the home Drill Press Very impressive tool. I used the vise to drill precise dowel holes in some wood stock and the results were perfect. I also used it to hold a brass rod when drilling 55° angle holes, again with great results. The vise material and construction designs are top notch. The angle adjustment is smooth and secure when locked. This is certainly a valued tool for anyone with a small workshop.

Well made for the money. This vise is about as good as it gets for an China import vise fit and finish is good and proper machining is done on all the surfaces that matter. The jaw has almost zero slop. I think it is strong enough to use as a mini mill vise for lighter milling cuts on brass aluminum and mild steel. This to large in my opinion for mini drill presses of 8 inches swing or below. A good solid product for a home shop or maybe lighter duty commercial work.

Very good (overall and for the price) Had these for few months now. Work perfect. Smooth, no binding when clamping, no play when clamped. Great for drill press or table-top milling machine (as part of milling table topper). No complaints - great vice. Had a snag when shipment got lost first time around, but seller quickly rectified the issue by shipping another one, so no complaints there. Great seller actually. Ethical.

Not the 'Wilton' quality you might be expecting. Yeah, it was cheap-ish. I shoulda known I guess. I had to take it apart, clean all the skank off it, completely deburr it everywhere, lube it, and put it back together to to be fully unimpressed. Whatever points you might be giving it ahead of time because it says 'Wilton' on it is, I can attest to, very misguided. The Wilton you're thinking of is dead. Long live the cartoon version of it. The curved tin-foil degree label was half off, so I had to razor it completely off and will worry about re-attaching that later. The mfg process appears to be: cast/powder-coat/machine/assemble/box/ship. No cleanup, no QA, no lube (had old cutting fluid all over it), and yes, they powder-coated it before machining it. Bizarre.* Will it hold stuff at an angle? sure.* Will it make me throw up a little in my mouth every time I need to use it? Absolutely.

Good quality vise for light angle machining Finish and workmanship are Wilton quality. Stops for common angles are reasonably accurate. I use angle blocks for setup so have not paid attention to the accuracy of the included scale, but it is reasonably close. Used for light milling and angle drilling.

Unexpected craftsmanshop I was surprised at the good quality of this vise. I have shopped extensively for an affordable vertical vise and settled on this one because of cost and Prime shipping (this puppy is heavy to ship!). The typical Chinese floppy cardboard box around the vise itself was a red flag and my heart sank. But then I opened it! What a sight. This thing is beautiful. It's well made, tightly constructed and with no play in the moving parts. I do a lot of small metal forging and this is much better than the Bonny Doone vise already in the shop and the jaws are about the same size in area. This vise is completely adjustable with two ways to secure the angles. It has a small footprint on the bench. I'm very happy to have purchased this tool.

Great price and good quality for a nice vice I was totally impressed with this vise. Very well made and very precise. I used it the other day to drill at a 30 degree angle. I checked the degree scale on the vise with an electronic angle finder and it was dead on. The price is a very good value for what you’re getting for a nice vice like this one.
