Arbor Dust Cover For Track Saws – Improve Dust Collection and Reduce the Mess (For Festool TS 60)

Fits perfect in my 55, comes with the single piece. This does a great job cutting down on sawdust. I used it with my track saw and Festool dust collection (I have the unit with Bluetooth and have the separator on top, I spent over 1,000 just on that. Just saying what I'm working with) it did a good job before, but now it's perfect, I cut some breadboard to make counter tops and had no particles in the air and such a small amount of sawdust underneath the work I brushed it with my hand once and it was gone. Such a simple add on, I wish I'd bought it when I got the saw!

A small but very nice improvement For quite a while I just taped over the opening in the side of my track saw. Simple but effective way to seal the opening and maybe even improve the dust collection on the saw. But it always seemed like a crude solution on such an expensive tool. Frankly, I’m not sure why the manufacturer doesn’t provide something just like this as an OEM part. But they don’t, and I was happy to see this part was available. It’s a well-designed cover that’s easy to install and remove. It fits very tightly in the opening and that should reduce air intake and improve dust collection. And it looks lots better than the tape solution. Reasonable cost and made in the USA.

Does what it says it will do This works exactly as advertised and as I hoped it would. There is still some dust, but I think there’s less than there was without this arbor cover. I have a TS 55 and it installed in seconds. I appreciate that there’s a little bevel on one end to make it easier to pop it back off when necessary. It’s a little expensive for a tiny piece of 3D-printed plastic, but if you’re buying it for your Festool, you’re already used to paying a lot.

Helps improve dust collection Well made and fit my TS55 perfectly. While my opinion is subjective, not quantitative, it does appear to help with dust collection.Importantly, it is easily removed when you want to change blades.

A useful, easily removable cover plate for the Festool TS55 track saw I should've bought one of these a long time ago. The last photo shows what I've been doing for years - it worked but it finally got too annoying. The new 3D printed cover plate snaps in and out easily and stays put. Well worth the money.

Should be on all track saws This tinny little peice of plastic takes an already great dust collection system and makes it even better. I use a track saw daily for tearing down sheet goods for finish trim and with this simple snap in peice of plastic my clean up is almost zero. Definitely a huge improvement to your track saw

It does exactly what it's supposed to do and with efficiency to the point that festool should include this at their price point.Makes dust extraction more efficient and it really shines with protecting from tear out, especially on plywood.This is a must again, I'm beyond confused why this isn't standard from festool?
