ZERO CLEARANCE INSERT PLATE (SET OF 3) FOR BOSCH GCM12SD MITER SAW

Fits the Bosch 12" compound glide saw PERFECTLY. This product was shipped and packaged well and fit my compound glide saw perfectly. I have the newer version of the saw which uses the outer set of mounting holes; older saw owners will use the other set of holes.I just dropped it in, tightened it up and made sure it was fully inserted and level with the cutting platform, and sliced through it. I would recommend using a machinist's square to make 100% sure that your blade is at 90 degrees before making the cut. If you've been lazy about calibrating your saw, now is the time to do it right to get the most benefit out of this insert.

Not happy Holes didn’t match

Sized too close/tight Inserts are 1mm too thick (they measure 1cm on my calipers, factory inserts are 9mm). Also about a mm too wide all the way around. Fixable with an exacto knife in the corners and some sandpaper on the back, but annoying.

A bit off but worked with some modification Was about 1mm too wide for the recess in the saw. A bit of chamfering on the backside using a wood rasp made it work though. Resulted in a press fit using a few good taps with a mallet. Would have preferred to see the substrate made of laminate instead of flimsier press board. Given the tight fit, I had to be careful the countersunk screws didn't just tear out this weak pressboard. Otherwise good. Saved me time making my own.

Great product It does fit both on my old and new Bosch. Good deal, will keep this supplier.

Does not fit Bosch 12 Miter Saw Does not fit the holes and trying to drill them out is not working. There are extra holes for other models which this Bosch doesn't have. Stripped my saw holes trying to screw the plate.... Poor quality material as well, seems very cheap and flimsy.
