GROHE 27577002 Tempesta Cosmopolitan 100 4 Spray Shower Rail Set, Starlight Chrome

Has an awful grey hard plastic hose that ruins an otherwise good product, what an awful idea to swap out the normal flexible stainless steel hose, would have been worth paying the extra. Returned it and bought the parts separately.

Just got our package- Everything seems in order- but we were very disappointed with the plastic hose!!In disbelief..Grohe! Whats up with this? It takes all the beauty and sophistication from the rest of the parts!Sorry to see this.Otherwise just fine.

Edit: I am downgrading the rating to one star after noticing that the arm that slides along the shower bar and holds the shower head itself dents the shower bar even under simple hand tightening. This is extremely poor design and quality control. The tolerances should be such that the bar never indents. That should not even be a possibility, yet here we are. Coupled with the average to below average design of the shower head itself, the difficulty of removing the plastic housing covering the mounting points of the shower bar (in the event that you want to make an adjustment or re-tighten the mounting), and the noise this thing makes, a one star rating is actually generous.The shower head pressure is quite poor and the sucking sound the shower head makes on Rain O2 and Rain settings is rather annoying. 100% plastic construction, but that’s not too surprising at this price point. The included hose though not particularly attractive works well. I strongly recommend running hot water through it for a few minutes in order to have it properly relax.

We really like this hand shower but be aware of two things: The hose is made of a kind of plastic. It is fairly rigid when compared to the usual flexible metal hoses that come on hand showers. I'm sure it will loosen up over time, but it was a surprise when we received it.The connection to the water outlet is a hand-tightened nut and isn't meant to be tightened by a wrench. We've found it a bit tricky getting it tight enough to eliminate all water from leaking. It's not a deal-breaker -- after all, you're already in a shower, but we expected more from a higher-end brand like Grohe.

Not happy with the quality of the chrome finish The chrome finish on the height adjustment holder has some imperfections. Since I don't have time to return and wait for another replacement, I have kept the item. Not happy about it though as it doesn't reflect the Grohe quality that everyone is talking about.

The Hose is absolutely useless I bought four of these, and have had to replace every hose. In three months all the hoses have burst. The hose is cheaply made and cannot handle any pressure at all. Would not but this shower again.

Good shower head but replace the hose and skip the shelf. The shower head and bar are quite functional and install relatively easily (add some caulk to seal things up) but the hose is really cheapy plastic that doesn’t flex well. The shelf is kind of a joke, it feels like knock-off junk from Asia. Not the quality I expected from Grohe when compared to several other products I own of theirs.

It OK Its low end plated plastic, but for the price I cant complain about that. The high end metal plated GROHE stuff is 4 times the price. It flows plenty of water, but it is noisy, has an odd sound to it. We got use to it, but if I am still in bed I know when my wife turns on/off the shower. I guess that could be a plus if you are up next!!

Totally Impressed with My New Shower Set I've been really happy with this shower set. The 24" shower bar is a game changer! It makes the whole showering experience so much more comfortable. Definitely recommended for a bathroom upgrade!

Very cheap components Extremely cheap components that don't even fit together properly - the "chrome" slide does not fit over the plastic part it is supposed to slide onto. After installing this, it looked so bad and felt so flimsy that I removed it and put back the original (22 year old) components that I was trying to replace. There's no way I could return it after installing & uninstalling - so, lost money.

Know your metric to save conversions. This shower head and bar are great! Fairly easily installed and works GREAT!

Good price! Love this adjustable rail we had installed in our new shower. Better deal than at the local store.
