Excellent Neighbor Policy A cliche that earned this designation because of its veracity is that good fences make good neighbors. In this case, this item makes an excellent neighbor.I have a large corner lot on a moderately busy street. Passersby frequently throw trash on my lawn. I further occasionally contend with people cutting through the yard, sometimes close to my house.I have considered having a fence professionally installed but decided against the expense and bother primarily because I plan to move within a few years. Frozen ground is requiring a delay in installing this less expensive option. The fencing awesomely exceeds expectations. It is a little taller than expected, and the panels look as if they easily will sink into the ground. The system to strongly link each panel is a great bonus. The metal looks to be high quality, and the white paint looks nice and seems long lasting. The $55 price allows buying even a few sets for a fraction of getting a contractor.

Woks amazing for a dig fence as well for dogs These are strong and sturdy! Height is great and looks great around a flowerbed as well. They bend very well holding their sturdiness. I used them for a dig barrier around my fence for my dogs and it has worked exactly the way I wanted. Really nice set and covered a great distance as well!

Nice little garden fence - will use around a flower bed once the ground thaws This is a nice, fairly sturdy but quite short fence that you can use to put around a small tree, shrub, or flower garden. I unpacked mine - I got the set of 20 panels in white - in my garage, then took 5 of the panels to try to put together. That was basically easy, with the 5th part the hardest because I had to attach it on both sides. (See my photos, please!)The fencing is listed as being 16.5" tall but that includes the stakes, which here in New Hampshire I will be inserting at least 6" into the ground to make sure the fence is stable all around - which leaves only about 10" above the ground. For my needs, it's fine, as I'll be using this as a border around a flower bed in my front yard and not too many creatures try to get into that bed! (My back yard is a different story as it is surrounded by conservation land, which is always full of wild life!)These are lightweight pieces, but once together, they feel pretty solid. I can't yet install mine because the ground is frozen and will be for at least another 2-3 months, but this will be a pretty little fence around my coral bells.Overall I like this a lot and think it will look lovely in my yard. I'll try to remember to post more photos once I can get it into the ground! Note, though, that right now (1/2/26), the 10-piece black set is MUCH more affordable than the 20-piece white set; you can get 40 (yes, FORTY!) pieces in black for only a dollar more than ONE 20-piece white set. So if black would work for you and your garden, I say go for it!

Wire you looking at my garden!? PROS-Effective barrier for small garden areas-Smooth finish with curved top looks nice-Segments hook together securely-Sturdy wire thickness for the size-Easy to configure into a perimeterNITPICKING-Short overall height when fully inserted-Primarily suited for small, well behaved dogsDETAILSThese small fence segments work well as a simple barrier for garden protection. Each segment measures about 11 ⅜” long and 16 ½” high from the tip to the highest point, with roughly 8” designed to be pushed into the ground. If fully inserted, only about 8 ¾” of fence remains exposed, though leaving some of the bottom section above ground allows for a total height of around 12 to 13”. I use these to keep my dogs out of the garden, and after showing them the boundary a few times, they understood the limit. Each segment connects to the next with a small hook that fits into a wire eye, creating a continuous fence line. The set included 10 segments, giving a total length of about 10 feet. The wire is 5/32 inch in diameter, roughly six gauge, which feels plenty sturdy for this use. The smooth finish and curved top give it a nicer look than plain straight wire fencing. Overall, it does exactly what I needed it to do.

Thicker, Better-Designed Panels for Blocking Fence Gaps I originally planned to buy the inexpensive wire garden borders from local stores this spring, but I couldn’t resist trying these from Amazon, and I’m glad I did. While the true test will come once the frozen ground thaws, my first impression is very positive.I needed these panels for two main reasons. First, to block a couple of large gaps under our wooden fence where a small dog could easily slip through while we’re pet-sitting. These panels are much thicker than the ones sold locally, and I really like how deep the stakes go into the ground. Wildlife digs under our fence in the same spots every year, and the cheaper panels I’ve used in the past bend easily and rust quickly. Those panels also only have stakes at each end, leaving the middle vulnerable to digging. These panels have multiple ground stakes across the entire bottom, which should make a big difference and help prevent larger dogs from bending them away from the fence. My second use is in the garden. I need to block off a small section so I don’t accidentally pull out butterfly milkweed in the spring. I’m an amateur gardener, and when plants aren’t in bloom, everything looks the same to me. If the milkweed spreads, as I hope it will, I may end up ordering another set to protect that corner of the garden. My only wish is that the panels were a bit taller to prevent bunnies or small dogs from hopping over them. The product description notes they’re about 16" tall from the base of the ground up, which is accurate, but taller panels would add even more versatility.Overall, these appear to be far better in quality and design than the fencing panels I’ve used in the past. I’m looking forward to installing them once the ground thaws and will update my review if any issues come up.

Worked great for my raised bed garden It is just the right height to keep the dog out of my raised bed garden, and it looks great. It is sturdy enough to last awhile.
