I'm yet to actually use the laptop, just arrived. I asked specifically if this came with a plug suitable for UK households and was told no, but it does come with an adaptor. Low and behold there's no adaptor. I don't appreciate being lied to

I’ve put 100’s of hours of research into laptops by now and this is definitely the best laptop for my use case. The 5070ti is a beast and the laptop itself is beautiful

2 Defected units. Boot up issue Laptop is really beautiful and quite amazing with the amount of tech its got. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of light usage it stopped turning on. It would attempt to boot up and had a full charge as displayed by the LED but the screen would not start. I tried trouble shooting and nothing would get it to restart. I returned it, waiting on my refund and anticipate buying the same one again, hoping i just got a defective unit. Havent downloaded any games on it but it was super sharp and snappy. Praying the next one works, otherwise having a broken system for the price is not worth it.UPDATE 12/20/2025I recieved the new one and its even worse than before. It worked well for about 2 days, then began with the boot up issues again. It turned on and arrived to the windows log in page then ramped ip fan speeds and turned off. Eventually the screen just stopped turning on and only the keyboard and power button would light up, no picture.I hate writing bad reviews and this really is a beautiful laptop, I truly wished it would work out but its a piece of garbage if it cant work properly out of the box on 2 units. Does not work right.

Almost the Perfect Laptop! Almost the Perfect Laptop! The OLED screen is perfection embodied in a 16-inch panel. Not gonna look at any other screen the same way! The keyboard is fantastic! personally, I don’t need the number pad, and if Lenovo removed it, this would easily be S-tier. The trackpad is very responsive with no lag; the only drawback is that it’s not glass.RGB lighting is top of the line, and the overall build quality is absolutely S-tier inside and out. People used to say you buy a MacBook because it’s beautiful both inside and outside, but that’s no longer the case; the Legion 7i Pro is just as well-engineered and feels as solid as a MacBook Pro. This is peak Windows laptop design! The four speakers are loud, clear, and very good—easily A-tier. An underrated highlight is the cooling system. Even under stress, it doesn’t sound like a Boeing engine ready for takeoff, which is impressive. And even the charger don’t feel hot to the touch which to me is pretty impressive for a heavy gaming laptop! The only downsides:• Weight: It’s on the heavy side, but I’ll take that tradeoff any day for better cooling.• Battery life: This is the Achilles heel. I only get around 2 to 2.5 hours of YouTube playback. It feels like stepping back to the 2010s—reminds me back in 2009 MacBook Pro when I purchased it because its battery was hitting 5 hours. But we in 2025, and this laptop has battery life under 3 hours is disappointing 🤣😭 That said, I didn’t buy this laptop for battery life—if that were my priority, I’d have gone with the MacBook Pro M4.Overall, this might just be the best all-around gaming laptop of 2025 in my opinion. 🔥🔥🔥🐐

Amazing laptop I ordered this laptop from US to EU, mostly due to ANSI keyboard. In EU, you can buy only ISO standard, which I am not a fan of.Laptop has really beautiful screen - OLED, I loved it from first sight. I checked cm by cm / inch by inch and there are no dead pixels, really good quality both screen and overall laptop - it has solid aluminum build.Application Legion Space allow you to control heat and fan - by changing mode. On balance / custom mode I found it's working really good, I have around 90 °C CPU, GPU is even lower. Some users complain about fan and heat - but they do not control mode.Speakers are really loud with good bas.Keyboard is really clicky and comfortable to type.Disadvantage of this laptop is battery - it's draining really fast, but you cannot have everything this is cost of this beautiful screen and for me it's far more important then battery.

I’m impressed I’ve been using the Legion Pro i7 (RTX + Intel i7 configuration) for a few weeks, playing a variety of modern AAA and multiplayer games — and overall, I’m impressed. Here’s the full breakdown from a gamer’s point of view:What I really likePerformance: This thing is a powerhouse. It handles demanding titles (think open-world, high-settings) without breaking a sweat. When you crank up settings or use high refresh rates, the i7 + RTX combo keeps fps stable and smooth — no noticeable lag even in hectic firefights or big open-world scenes.Display: The screen is . Crisp visuals, vibrant colors, and smooth frame delivery make everything look clean — from fast-paced shooters to cinematic story-games. As a gamer who cares about immersion, that matters a lot.Versatility: It doesn’t feel like a gaming-only machine. I’ve done some lighter tasks, streaming, and even editing-type work (video/audio) and the system handles it like a champ. Perfect if you want one machine for both gaming and “real life.”Build & convenience: Keyboard and overall build feel sturdy and premium. Ports, connectivity and cooling seem well-balanced — you can plug in accessories, external drives or headsets without fuss; fans don’t get unbearably loud unless under heavy load. What you should know / What could be betterBattery life: Don’t expect long unplugged sessions. Like most powerful gaming laptops, the battery drains fast if you actually game on battery power. For anything heavy (games, rendering), you’ll want to be plugged in.Portability vs performance tradeoff: It’s not a super-light laptop. If you move the machine around a lot (school, cafés, trips) you’ll feel the weight. It’s better suited as a “desktop replacement” rather than a daily-carry laptop.Power draw and heat (if pushed hard): With high settings and long sessions, expect the fans to come alive and the machine to get warm. It’s manageable, but noticeable — plan accordingly if you game on your lap or in hot environments
