The new platter fits perfectly on my Rega P1. It does sound better (tighter bass, improved sound stage) but most importantly, it looks cool. I'm happy with the purchase.

All that needs to be done is lift off the old platter and replace with this one, no need for the old platters woollen mat, place the new one onto the sub platter and your good to go…..I was amazed by the improvement of the sound. Nothing could be easier, worth the money and an easy upgrade. There is a reason that REGA put acrylic/glass platters on the more expensive turntables.

    元々の黒いプラッターも良いのですが、上位機種はガラス製、セラミック製で白っぽいんですよね。そんな時にコレをたまたま見つけたので購入。純正品より重いのですが良いです。製品精度も問題ないです。

Amazing sound and visual upgrade to Rega P1 Wow, must say I’m really impressed…hence the review. Purchased to upgrade the platter on my Rega Planar P1 Plus and the fit and finish are exact out of the box. Perfectly flat and noticeably heavier than the stock platter. Best of all, it made a noticeable sound improvement, giving more depth to bass and bit warmer sound - verified in a blind sound test with my wife’s astute ear.Beyond the sound improvement it turns the already polished Rega into a modern art piece. I’m super impressed and this exceeded my hopes and at an excellent price point. Wins all around!

Perfect fit, looks beautiful on my RP1. To start, I bought this for aesthetic reasons - I much prefer the acrylic platter look to the black resin platter this table comes with. I have a RP1 table with the "performance pack" that came with the Bias 2 cart and upgraded belt. I only mention this because the fit of the Bias 2 is different from the stock Carbon cart. This could make a difference on VTA with this platter. As for mine, it was a perfect 1for1 switch out between my resin platter with leather mat to this acrylic with no mat. The tone arm is perfectly level with both setups - no tone arm shims necessary. And, it looks great!

Fit is off for P1 (in 2024) There is definitely some confusion in the reviews and mfg comments as to whether the fit is correct for current P1 turntables. I can confirm that for my September 2024 platter on a 2024 P1, I did not receive a height-corrected platter that fits my P1 the same as stock. The platter I received sits ~3mm lower. Coincidentally, I had also done a cartridge swap which is a bit taller. The platter sits low to the plinth, but has adequate clearance with no rubbing. Tracking seems good as I've been breaking in the cartridge, so I'm planning on leaving it as-is.I like the extra weight of the platter, seemingly providing smoother speed control, and the look is great.

Masterpiece Yes, it sitting abt 3mm lower, then original platter, but, it will save me from tone arm adjustment during my next planned update. For now, sound is better anyway. And, of cause! Looking beautiful!

Easy to assemble, fits perfectly. This is just excellent, visually and functionally. An obvious improvement to my P1.

Great platter Excellent fit and finish and used in conjunction with an Ortofon Blue MR. Love not needing a mat and the added mass for more consistent rotation. It also look awesome against a white plinth.

Definitely An Upgrade Been coveting this platter for some time to address a little vertical wobble with the stock one on my Rega RP1. And because it looks nice. Much ink has been spilled in online forums as to whether that's the result of a warped platter or the underlying sub-platter. In my case this new platter dealt with the vast majority of it. So definitely pleased on that front. There's some discussion in the reviews here about a difference in height between versions (or rather how much material is removed from the underside which sits on the sub-platter - how tall it ultimately sits in any case). And it would appear I received the "new" version that's slightly too tall for my particular stock Rega RP1. There's certainly a slight increase in VTA with even the stock Ortofon OM5E that came preinstalled on the TT. But as with all things turn table there's at least some debate about the overall effects of VTA not being perfectly level. However, I also replaced my cartridge at the same time with a Grado Opus3, which is taller than the Ortofon. The angle change was pronounced enough that I felt compelled to raise the stock tonearm with some washers (at least temporarily until I find a better solution, although the washers seem to be doing just fine). There's also some additional weight/mass on the acrylic platter. I didn't have any problems coming up to or maintaining speed or anything like that, however I also replaced the drive belt with the Rega EBLT Reference version at the same time and didn't test with the old one beforehand. In the off chance someone experiences start-up/speed issues that could likely offer a solution.Even if you're one of those hit by the height disparity of the new version to the point you need to fiddle with raising the tonearm on an entry-level Rega, it's hard not to see this as a "buy." The platter is very well made and similar versions from other makers are demanding at least double the cost. It's genuinely difficult to imagine anything significant the more expensive examples could improve upon. There was even a slight (but noticeable) sonic improvement, which was a welcome addition for a purchase intended primarily to cure platter wobble. Whether that's due to eliminating the wobble, the added mass, or something else entirely - I have no idea. But I'll take it.And it looks nice.
