GDFStudio Outdoor Wooden Chaise Lounge, Set of 2 with Teak Finish

Good looking JUNK!!! I was so excited to get these and at a fair price. But they are designed very poorly for softwood. The designer joins the two halves with hinges even tho it MUST be a non moveable union. In other words if it flexes there it will break as there are a number of screw holes for anchored pieces that must not flex. But as you turn the piece to secure the legs in place the forces of the weight of the two halves place force in the hinged area and it is NOT designed tight. There was too much play in the joint they designed and the hinge is soft and bends. Next thing that happens is the soft brittle wood snapping in a number of places. I didnt bother to put together the second one as it was a design flaw that will be repeated on each one. Garbage. Problem with return is it comes shipped in two boxes and Amazon only provides one return label. Their whole software operation cant see where a set of packages needs returning and only delivered one label for the weight of a single package so now after repacking everything (a 30 minute job) I need to get a human at Amazon to send another label and cart 100 lbs worth of junk furniture to UPS. If it was alwys like the with Amazon I’d be an ex customer for sure. Amazon, I’m watching! Amazon does not vouch for the quality of merchandise as that’s too big of a job for them but they are making it more and more difficult to return items. Used to be UPS would come and pick the items up without even a label. Not anymore!

Great buy! ****update**** Sturdy and comfortable. Look great. Wood slats are just wide enough that body evenly distributes when laying or sitting. We will buy neck pillows for best comfort. Great buy!Update after 1 year. Instead of neck pillows, I will look for complete cover. I use uv protection every weekend during the spring/summer/fall and these are stored inside during winter. The teak furniture under my porch still look great but wouldn’t recommend for full sun areas

Comfortable even without cushions Easy to assemble, looks great, use for indoor use- not sure how long it would last in the sun though.

Great lounges These chair are simple to put together, and are much better made quality-wise than what I had. I like the added central cross feet for stability. I think that will reduce stress on the wood, and add to the life. The wood looks much nicer than what I had, also.

Beautiful loungers I was very excited to get these, the loungers are excellent and the wood is beautiful, however one of the back pieces came broke and i didn't realize it until it was all put together. I contacted the seller and immediately they sent me a message that they wanted to send a replacement part. I was so impressed that they acted so fast and resolved the issue. I'm very excited to use these.
