Beautiful addition to the kitchen. Just what we needed. Constantly leaving the faucet on because it was so quiet. This faucet is exactly what we needed! Quiet but still loud enough to know it’s running. With an automated home it’s the crowning touch. I have just installed my Smart Faucet and so far its great. I am using the Moen splitter to run both electric and batteries. I have two outlets under my sink. One works the garbage disposal and has only one outlet and the disposal button. The second is a two outlet and the dishwasher is plugged into it. For the garbage disposal outlet I have an extension outlet turning the outlet into three prongs. I notice the splitter blinks on ac but lights up and so does the splitter plug steady only when I use the garbage disposal. I assume the outlet starting and running is only “hot” when the disposal is running. So my faucet must be defaulting to the batteries most of the time. That is no big problem for me. I am still getting to know exactly how this works and the cord is long enough I could run it around to the dishwasher outlet which would I think solve the problem of defaulting to the batteries as that outlet stays “hot” all the time I think. I will call both my electrician and Moen for information on how the outlets should work with the splitter. I don’t know if the alternative ac outlet you use without the splitter would have that situation or not. Regardless I love all the different things and ways the faucet works so its a winner for me. The fact that it is beautiful is just the icing on the cake and this is the first non Grohe faucet I’ve used since 1999. I replaced my Grohe kitchen faucet with this one and so glad I did!

I like MOEN quality and warranty but installation was more involved than it needed to be I purchased the MOEN S5535SRS Sinema One-Handle High Arc Single Mount Beverage Faucet because I like the MOEN quality even though they are expensive. And I am pleased with the looks and quality but the installation turned out to be a hassle. All because MOEN does not include an adapter to attach the faucet to a ¼” plastic tube.I was replacing another, non MOEN, faucet that was leaking and the filter system that I already have has a ¼” plastic supply line. The installation instructions that came with the faucet says that if you are using the MOEN filter system the 3/8” connector will be included with the filter system so they do not include any connectors.I thought I could just go to the local big box store and get an adapter but it turned out it as not so easy.I ended up going three times and twice ordering a part from a big box store.I am an engineer but not a plumbing expert so was not sure what adapter I needed. The first time I went to the store I could not find an adapter that I thought would work so I went online and ordered this part: Everbilt 3/8 in. OD Compression x 1/4 in. FIP Brass Adapter FittingSee first picture. When I got the order the part I got looked like the second pictureand did not work and did not match the part I thought I ordered.I finally ended up going to the Big Box Store and working with the pluming guy, thanks guy, and came up with this part:Everbuilt 1/4in OD x 3/8 in OD fine T. FF LFA-154.It fit so I installed it but when I turned the water on it leaked. The fitting that connected to the faucet had a white washer in it so I thought it would seal but did not. So I called a plumber friend and he said even though it is a compression fitting the part I was using had a washer, not a ferrule so it is OK to use teflon tape.It is now installed and working.Hope this helps if you buy this faucet to connect to a ¼” plastic line.

Looks nice; works well. Good product; power boost works. There is a small flaw on the nozzle from an aesthetics standpoint. Not a scratch, just a small flaw but no one would notice it but me. Tried to call Moen but the wait time was 1+hr according to the recording. I can live with it.

A splurge filtered water faucet Firstly, this faucet is quite expensive when compared to other dedicated drinking water faucets. I looked at others in-person at stores to see if there really was a difference in the quality. For me, this was a fairly easy choice, and I have no regrets thus far. There were few others I could find with the visual weight and design aesthetic to match a large, high-arch kitchen faucet like the one I chose (also a Moen). This was one of the main reasons I felt it was worth the cost over less expensive models. I purchased this as part of a full kitchen remodel, so a $50 faucet vs one over $200 was a drop in the bucket on total costs, making it a little easier to swallow. When it comes to something I'm interacting with on a near daily basis in the kitchen, those objects become more like tools, and the importance of quality and small details increase the pleasure of working in the kitchen. The faucets are in the same category as my knives, pans, and range; they're part of my workflow and I use them every day.The high arch and the mounting location I chose allow this faucet to fill all but the tallest of my pans, cups, and bottles while setting them on the countertop, which can be helpful at times.Concerning mounting, I did not use the included plastic base with indicator light for Moen filters. It seemed like the one cheap part that didn't match with the rest of the unit and I did not pair this with the Moen filter. Instead I went to my local Ace store to find an o-ring that fit into the groove of the faucet base to prevent any leaks through the mounting hole, and to give a little more traction to ensure it didn't move after mounting. I also used all stainless flex lines and brass fittings to plumb from supply to filter to faucet -- no plastic or quick-connects.I paired this with a 3M ESP124-T high-flow, semi-commercial espresso and coffee service filter which reduces chlorine and most contaminants (no lead reduction). It helps with reducing scale in espresso machines, as I have a prosumer unit which gets daily use. I live in a area where lead isn't a concern and tap water is of already very good quality.I would recommend this faucet easily, with the small reservation on the price. If it fits your design aesthetic, I think the purchase price reflects the quality and function.
