Take off the wheel alignment sensor (clamp tool) and remove the tire;Carefully place the magnetic level gauge on the side of the suction wheel disc brakes;Adjust the water level to zero;Install the specific parts in the desired position;Using a special tool, adjust the locating parts to the required measuring angle with the aid of the magnetic level gauge’s indications;Re-testing with the locator and, in case of slight deviations, only fine adjustment of the vehicle is necessary. (Usually slight deviations do not lead to faulty localization).

Nothing special you could butt anything up against each side say 6x1 timber and 1 or 2 tapes and get same result-tolerances of say eg.2mm or 1/8 you could eyeball it .As for camber and caster these are factory set on most newer cars so toe is the only adjustment so maybe as discussed or go the string line both the same result .

AluminCamber The First Camber Gauge I bought was made out of aluminum ( very good quality) but unfortunately I damaged it and bought the second one which wasmade out of plastic and I didn’t feel it was as accurate as the one made out of Aluminum . The third one was black and defective, there was no bubble in the main level. I returned it. So I recomend buying the Aluminum Camber Gauge.Tony M.

Great product Great product. Was a little wary about the quality. No need to worry. The product is sturdy and was able to very easily allow me to measure and remove excess camber that was wearing the tires on a Toyota Highlander.
