I love this stand. I have no bench so this is great. I bought the saw and I would recommend it.

it was better than expected for the money I paid it is a little awkward to fold the legs, good delivery service.

Description says product will fit most 12" mitre saws, well this product didn't fit my Mastercraft 12" with 17" mounting holes. They should put it in the description.

very nice miter saw stand all made of steel easy to put together really like the wheels makes it easy to put it away the quick release handles to move the saw to one side are nice when you are working with long broads like other have said the wheels could be wider but you get what you pay for a lot of stands do not have wheels and i wish their was a handheld when wheeling other then that all is good for the price

Reasonably priced, good quality for me a non-carpenter low skill guy. Easy to handle. Clean cut. Laser line effective.

Great miter saw I'm a 73 year old woman. When my daughter suggested that she and I build my 5 year old granddaughter a playhouse/bunkbed, I knew I needed more than my circular saw and jig saw. I bought this and a table saw. I had seen my contractor use a saw like this several years ago and really liked what it did. It works great as a "chop saw". It was easy for us to set up and use. It's light enough for me to pick up yet very sturdy. It seems to be accurate when cutting angles. The bed turned out perfectly and my granddaughter loves it. No one can believe that we two women actually built it. We couldn't have done it without this saw. I can't wait for another project.

A classic feature, and thankfully, it’s of the standard variety that pairs seamlessly with a run-of-the-mill shop vac. A subtle but appreciated detail. I’ve tested it on both pressurized and humble 2x4s, as well as the mightier 4x4s, and—miracle of miracles—it didn’t break a sweat.Now, the sound. Oh, the sound. This tool makes no secret of its presence. If you cherish your eardrums, be sure to invest in some high-quality ear protection, unless you're looking to add 'temporary hearing loss' to your list of achievements.As for the supports—ah, yes, the supports. A valiant effort, but they seem to think all lumber is the same size. They may serve you well for standard boards, but anything over 8 feet quickly transforms them into a frustrating game of ‘will it line up?’ Spoiler alert: it won’t.And then there’s the bag. Truly a design marvel in the sense of being an outright disaster. Due to its unfortunate angle, once the bag accumulates more than a teaspoon of debris, it decides to give up and let everything slide back down the chute. I suppose it’s a statement on entropy, but I was hoping for something a little more practical. The shop vac does reduce the mess, but there's still a good bit of post-session cleanup.All things considered, I’d rate this tool a 3.8 out of 5—worth the purchase for the seasoned DIYer, but not without a few quirks that may test your patience.

Head and shoulders above the others. I have a large sliding compound miter saw on a beautiful Stablemate Stand (excellent but no longer available). I decided to get a lighter miter saw that's easier to move around. And so began the search for a decent miter saw stand.Spent a lot of time looking at Amazon and other sources to find a miter saw stand with design integrity. I do metal fabrication and know how the importance of design. I was feeling discouraged with the offerrings then the Genesis miter saw stand came up on one of my searches. It was obvious right away that this is intelligently designed and I purchased it.Now that I have the stand I can say I'm extremely pleased with it. In my opinion, It's worth more money than I paid for it. It is extremely strong for the weight and everything about this stand is high quality well thought-through.I will eventually take some pictures and add to this review to explain why it is so fantastic. In the meantime I just wanted to give a big thumbs-up to Genesis for such a well-designed product. In the meantime I encourage you to seriously consider this product.
