Awesome !! i have a metal fabrication shop and we burn up chop saws all the time - spent the extra money for this one and extremely pleased with it. the operators manual calls for SAE30 oil for a lubricant but is too thick for the pump to work - we used hydraulic oil and it works perfect. spoke to customer service immediately when we put it together and spoke to a person right away - sent a new pump that day but the issue was the oil not the pump. Extremely happy with my purchase !!

Atrocious directions / "customer service" Chinese quality at Chinese price. The customer "service" is awful too. Had to call because the directions were such a mot mess. No luck there. They just sent a video (that wasn't even my machine) with nothing but mind-numbing "music" in the background. Oh sure, they have an office in Georgia but they are all Chinese there and barely speak English.I'm a machinist so it's not that I don't know how vertical saws work. Like any piece of equipment though, they do have their nuances and differences. In addition, this is NOT a precision piece of equipment so if you need accuracy, I'd look elsewhere.

BEST SAW WITH THE LARGEST CUT CAPACITY FOR THE MONEY THIS SAW IS GREAT! EASY TO SET UP USE, CUTS PERFECTLY SQUARE AND AWESOME FOR CUTTING ANGLES, I REALLY LIKE THE STATIONARY VISE AND MOVING BOW, IT ALLOWS FOR MUCH QUICKER CUTTING OF ANGLES AND ITS CAPACITY ON A 45 DEGREE ANGLE FAR EXCEEDS THE $10K COLD SAW I WAS LOOKING AT. I ALWAYS DO MY RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING EQUIPMENT AND THIS WAS THE BEST DEAL I FOUND. QUIET AND WORKS FLAWLESSLY. 4 BELT SPEEDS, MICRO ADJUSTABLE SAW FEED, AND ADJUSTABLE FLOW ON THE COOLANT. GOOD COOLANT PUMP SET UP TOO...IM VERY HAPPY WITH IT!

10 inch saw is a beast. Great saw. Came in 2 days. Great crating. The only thing is the hydraulic down feed. Only work when saw is powered up. But, it’s a benefit when you’re doing measurements from the blade to end of material.

Excellent band saw, wish I had bought it years ago This saw performs excellently at the task of cutting metal. It arrived mostly assembled and I was able to quickly put it to work on its first project, new brackets and casters for the base.My only complaint about this saw is that with the supplied wheels, it does not turn easily when moving around the shop (500lbs), it sits too low for comfortably working with material and when flipped up to perform vertical saw operations it seems unsteady as has been noted by other reviewers. In the case of the 712R, flipping directly up did not put the machine so off balance that it would tip but if it were lifted too high while set to miter at 45 degrees, it would fall over. I grabbed some 1/4" angle iron and ordered some 9" casters with brakes. The added foot print has removed any concern I had with stability, the machine is much easier to work with and I can move it around my shop much easier.I also plumbed in a secondary coolant tip for the cutting blade directly after the cutting area. I don't feel this is a necessary update for most as it likely would not make a difference for normal home shop use but for someone building a rollcage or two each year, it makes for a lot longer blade life.

Excellent Machine! Great product! The shipping was really fast like a week ahead of schedule. Blew me away! The wooden crate it came in was very heavy duty and protected the saw 100% from damage. Its heavy and weigh about 450lbs and you will need a forklift, or several people to lift it. Its a beast! The blade that comes with the saw is very workable, but I wanted a blade with more teeth per inch so i did order another blade. I was over impressed with the accuracy of the cuts right from the factory and the swivel base it fantastic when cutting angles because you don't have to move the stock. The saw also came with a replacement electrical system switch for those who want to connect the saw to 230 volt service. Overall, this is the best saw for the money when looking to graduate up to a professional size saw. I made a nice oversize cart with 3 x 2 x 3/16 angle and 2 x 2 x 1/8 square tube for it to set on. I made this stand with swivel wheels to provide better mobility than the straight stock wheels that came with the saw. The rolling stand also raised the saw up to a better working level saving my back. I am very happy with this saw thus far and look forward to many years of use.

Superior to HF & other 7x12" models, B+ First, it's 5 stars when compared to other low-cost 7x12 inch models, such as the Harbor Freight version. I had bought the HF 7x12" model first. I ended up returning it since it wasn't safe, and build quality was awful. The KAKA:This is more heavy-duty than the HF, it is safer, it has a better build quality, and a better design. The KAKA is a full 1.5 hp (15a @ 120v), the more amps an electric motor is built for, the more durable. The power switch is easy to get to in an emergency, whereas the HF unit requires you to reach across the machine to shut it off. The KAKA is more stable and less likely to tip. The KAKA has better blade guards as well. I included a picture of the HF model so you can see how much further the raised blade assy is from the axle than the KAKA. This make the HF easier to tip over. You can also see where the put the power switch on the HF. Crazy. And HF power switch box blocks maximum cutting height when used vertically. The KAKA was packaged well, and requires almost no assembly, you just put on the four wheels. It is heavy, so use two people to unpack it.Down marks? The instructions for switching it to vertical should be more complete. The vertical mode table is flimsy (0.050" thick, HF is too) and is only held on by 2x M5 flathead screws. It appears to accept a brace, but the instructions do not mention it. It should have a handle on operator end like the HF, to make moving it easier.
