Great mouse and amazing bluetooth stability. Lighter than what I am use to but so far great. Ability to button map using a website so installation of software needed which requires IT approval. Comfortable on the arm as well. Recommeneded!

This was my first time trying an ergonomic mouse, and it takes some getting used to, but so far I like it. It feels very good in your hand, although I would prefer if it weighed a bit more. It moves around my desk very well, and it seems accurate, I have no way of testing the 30k DPI claim - because that is just far too sensitive. I connected it using the USB dongle, and my Windows computer laptop picked it up right away. The additional scrollwheel can be useful for horizontal scrolling, for example in Excel. This mouse is just under £70, which is a bit more than I would usually want to spend for a non gaming mouse. One bonus is that you don't need to install any software to use this mouse - you can set it up through the web browser.

I can't say it really changed my hand position / wrist rotation more than a couple degrees from my old MX Master. Personally I wouldn't want to use this for gaming either. However, for working all day on the PC it's been totally fine. I like that the software is on a website instead of bloatware I have to install and have running.

Keychron M5 8K Wireless Ergonomic Mouse:I think because I have been using an MX Master for many years now, the additional angle that is on this Keychron mouse doesn't really register to me. Additionally I have large hands. It took me a while to realise that even my main mouse isn't exactly a conventional mouse shape even though it is very popular these days. It has a 20 degree angle or hump and the Keychron has a 47 degree.A more conventional design would be the soap bar shape of something like an Apple Magic mouse. When you think about the hand placement of that and then this, there is a stark difference. But yeah, I am not coming from that perspective so I can only really say that the 27 degree difference from my current mouse doesn't feel right to me.Maybe the claims are right and the unconventional angle of this mouse and others like it can be beneficial but I#m not seeing it.Outside of that, it is a well made mouse albeit a bit to lightweight and the customisation website makes it a bit better than the bulkware, always on software that comes with my MX Master.

Way better than the Razer vertical gaming mouse, better angle, lighter, nice side buttons and scroll wheel. Fits well in the hand.Only improvement I would suggest is making the buttons quieter to click!

Scroll wheel sucks The scroll wheel doesn't roll very smoothly and squeaks loudly after just a month. It feels worse than my $20 mouse. Very disappointing since I love most Keychron peripherals.

We're finally getting actual good vertical mice Massive improvement over the MX Vertical I spent a couple years using, and a bit cheaper to boot. High quality sensor with adjustable polling rate and DPI (you can actually play FPS games with this). Very comfortable to hold, no nasty rubber coating, and a nice horizontal wheel on the side. Only small downside I can see is that the wheels don't have a free spinning mode. Pretty lightweight.I couldn't get the web based settings interface to work, but the DPI and polling rate can both be adjusted with buttons on the bottom of the mouse anyway, so what does it matter?

Good Vertical Mouse, Bad Battery Life Overall, I'm happy with this mouse. It replaced my Logitech MX Vertical and improves on it in a few ways: it's lighter, the body shape keeps my thumb from dragging on my desk mat, and it has a side scroll wheel (that I keep forgetting to use).Negatives: Battery life is MUCH worse. My MX Vertical needed charging maybe once every other month (after over 7 years of daily use!). The M5 dies every couple of weeks, and since it uses a web-based config page instead of desktop software, there's no low battery warning. It just dies. Heck I remembered to leave this review because I went to use it and it was dead again. The DPI steps are also too coarse for quick adjustments between gaming and desktop work. Finer settings exist in the web software, but that's not convenient to access. For the price, I'd like and would recommend it. BUT I'm still waiting for someone to make a truly premium vertical mouse.

Great Ergonomics but build quality can be improved(4.5star) Good ergonomics, but some notable drawbacksThe Keychron M5 has excellent ergonomic design and the vertical orientation really helps reduce wrist strain during long work sessions. The weight feels well-balanced and comfortable for extended use. However, I'm disappointed with the battery life compared to my previous Logitech MX master mouse. The Logitech would last months on a single charge, while the M5 needs recharging much more frequently, which is not too inconvenient but charging that frequently can degrade abttery quickly. The side scroll wheel is also not up to the mark - it feels imprecise and doesn't have the tactile feedback I expected.Overall, it's a decent ergonomic mouse with good DPI options, but the battery life and side scroll wheel issues are there. wanted to give 4.5 star but there is now way for that. cannt give 4 either as they are really good for the price what it give compared to logitech

Good vert mouse but didn't fit my hand. Config tool works in Linux w/ proper udev rules. Overall functionality works well, but unfortunately it did not fit my hand well and I ended up returning it after trying for a few weeks to get used to it. My hand is on the larger size & its shape & size makes it hard to grip and not overly comfortable.Weight: Extremely light weight if you are into that. Shockingly light for its size honestly. I am not sure i'm sold on ultra light weight mouse coming from another gaming mouse that had weights to increase the weight.Ergonomics & shape: The vertical aspect as far as angle is god, but I am not at all a fan of the shape of the mouse itself for my hand. Ultimately the shape is why I ended up returning it. It is rounded outward, with no inward contours like other vertical mice ive used (and liked) so its hard to actually grab and pick up if you need to given that the texture is very smooth. Like trying to pick up a pyramid by pinching it at the top. If you only rest your hand on top of your mouse and never pick it up then it may work perfectly for you. Mouse size/shape is very much a subjective individual thing.Configuration software: Took me a little bit of trial and error to get it to connect on Linux, but once I got the right udev rules setup it worked well & was pretty strait forward to use. Wish it had a few more buttons on the mouse to try out the macro capability, but none of them really made sense as a macro key without giving up core functionality like back and forward buttons.Comes with a really nice cable, along with extenders for the wireless dongle. Wireless functionality was flawless in the short time I used it.Value for the $ was good & I just wish it fit my hand/grip style better and I would have kept it.For Linux Users, the following udev rule got the configurator working: KERNEL=="hidraw*", SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="3434", ATTRS{idProduct}=="d028", MODE="0660", GROUP="plugdev", TAG+="uaccess", TAG+="udev-acl"

Exceptional vertical mouse. Beats the competition in every way. This thing is awesome! I'm a long time user of the MX Vertical. I think I've gone through 3 of them cause the mouse buttons usually fail after a year or so. So far this M5 is superior is pretty much every way. The shape is better, it provides some support for your pinky rather than it dragging on the desk all the time, the mouse buttons feel much more clicky in a good way, and the scroll wheel has more defined steps. AND it has a side scroll wheel!!!It was easy to set up wirelessly. I haven't messed with the software yet but I'm glad that I don't feel like I need to. I like the easy DPI mode changes on the bottom of the mouse. So far the battery life has been great. At least as good as the MX Vertical. Also the smooth plastic build of this mouse is far superior to the slightly rubbery coating on the MX Vertical which would wear over time where your fingers rest and attract dust and dirt.I have had no issues with the wireless latency. The sensor definitely feels more accurate and I've had no issues with the glides. For the same price if not a little cheaper than other vertical mice I would definitely say this is the better buy.
