Bought this for my dad. He has suffered with poor mobility since being in hospital.Firstly, it is lovely quality and easy to clean. It was very easy to set up. The instructions were simple to follow. I was concerned initially by the electronic side of things, but I had a little go on it today and it is fantastic. Super comfy but supportive at the same time. It reclines all the way back into a lying position and slowly moves through to an assisted standing position. The cupholders are a nice extra you don’t always get on these sorts of machines, plus a little pouch for Dad’s newspaper. I also noticed there’s a port to charge a phone from. Very pleased with it!

Cheap, operates clunky and not good for mobility challenged people, ironically I ordered this for my father-in-law who has dementia and mobility challenges. - he is 6'2" and very thin. He had a relatively new recliner that someone had give him a couple of years ago (God bless them), but it was beginning to wear and was getting uncomfortable since it was not an extended recliner for tall people. I took a chance and ordered it for him since it was supposed to be for tall people and it was a huge and expensive mistake. After it arrived in 3 boxes and we wrestled them into the house and assembled them, it looked ok, but when he sat it in immediately he hated it and since he has dementia he was really letting us know how unhappy he was. We added extra padding but he hated it even worse. We tried to get him to lay back and his feet were hanging off the end and it was hurting his back and boy did he look awkward! After a night's sleep, we thought we would try it again in the morning hoping he had kinda forgotten the night before and the discomfort was immediate and set off a bad morning. We used the boost pad under him to slide him up further in the recliner but if his feet are on the floor in the down position, he starts sliding forward on this recliner in a sitting position and then it started pulling at his back because of the huge gap it was creating. This model DOES NOT lay down, is uncomfortable, awkward and clunky. You are either up or you are down - everything moves in one motion and the foot rest and back does not operate independent of the up and down. NOT A GOOD RECLINER FOR ANYONE WHO HAS MOBILITY CHALLENGES and are unable to situate themselves. So, now we are "stuck" with this recliner and are on the hunt for another. Waste of resources all the way around.

Definitely recommend Purchased for my 76 year old father who's not in very good shape. Not only is this unit very supportive with cushioning to help hold a good posture in any position, but it's very comfortable and practical and helps him stand up, must be on a carpet or area rug for him to feel safe, however. Directly on the hardwood the chair does tend to want to slip backwards as the person is pushing back against the chair more horizontally. As soon as we put an area rug down we set the chair on there and he felt much more stable standing up in the chairs most raised position. Absolutely recommend a chair it is pretty comfortable and looks great. The cup holders are actually super convenient. The heating unit gets pretty warm on the small of your back after it breaks in after running a couple Cycles. The vibration is a nice added feature, would be disappointed if it was strictly a massage chair with an incline feature but it's the opposite so the massaging capabilities being a five or six out of 10 are still a nice touch because it's just a bonus anyway. POSSIBLE CAUTIONARY CON: my father did say as he was on his way up the first couple times he was afraid of how the material allows you to just slip right off. I'm not sure how one avoids this because yes it is a very smooth material that you would get dumped off of if you didn't use your legs to hold yourself back. Again with the area rug we put it on, this basically eliminated the problem but one does have to hold himself up to a standing position when the chair begins to get up to the highest point. This is the same with any other chair I would imagine is not particular to this chair, one must use your legs of course to stand and it puts you in that position in no time. My father has weak legs and still able to use this just fine with a couple practice tries. Someone with extremely weak legs I could see having an issue, but then again standing up in the first place off of a normal position what all should be difficult and this chair at least gives you the option to stop the raising at any time allowing you to pick the position that you want to try to stand up from. Maybe all the way up isn't good but three quarters of the way in that case maybe best. Highly recommend the chair best money I've spent in a while

Comfortable and Reasonable This is a very comfortable recliner, I am 6'4 and 220 lbs. Easy to assemble seems will made. The only change upgrade I would make is if they have this chair with dual motors so the back and foot rest can be adjusted separately. Also get rid of wired controls this is the 21st Century, Blue Tooth or wifi please.I bought another recliner on Amazon different brand with dual motors, my wife likes it but for a big guy the McCombo is more comfy and a good fit.

Game changer for my elderly father! This chair arrived in two boxes. I ordered on a Thursday and had both boxes by Monday. One of the boxes was much heavier than the other, but both were manageable for me to tip and roll before taking the pieces out. The assembly was simple. The pieces were all intact. The right arm, the left arm, the back, and the seat were fully assembled and just needed to be fastened together. There were four screws in all, with wing nuts to fasten some anti-tip supports to the base. There are two remote controls. I don’t know if my dad will use the massage and heat function, but the up and down work great. The recline feature moves a little quick, but my dad‘s already seated by that time so I’m not concerned about the safety there. This helps him get in and out of his chair on his own and is really improving his quality of life and his feeling of independence. Great price, good color, I got the light brown, which is still fairly dark. The quality seems great and worth every penny.

Fantastic Life Recliner! I purchased this for my father for after his hip surgery and it is the best purchase we could have made! It lifts him up to where he can stand with his walker and then reclines back enough to lift up his legs for circulation. He can sleep on it, as well. It's so comfortable, the entire family loves it. The heat is nice, but the massage part is only vibration, but the chair as a whole is worth the investment.
