Super pretty! Came with a small bend I’m trying my best to ignore the bend but it’s def well made! The leather is supple and it has a nice firm yet flexible design (which somehow makes the bend a little more annoying to me .n.) as said, the pen is cute but basic. I’ve used a nice .38 sharpie gel pen and I do feel like, while it doesn’t bleed entirely, it’s getting there. I’m not quite sure if I’m personally heavy handed, though. It looks like the paper is def designed for the pen it comes with, so may have to be careful with the paper.As a leather enthusiast, I do like the quality, but I may give the bend a few days to see if it grows on me or if it will drive me nuts (a me thing)

Longevity Beautiful genuine leather. Thick pages with a high quality pen. Snap lock is secure. Pleased with this high quality product! Will be repurchasing for myself and others as a gift. You do not need another journal!

Awesome cover! Pros:*The cover is real leather.*The tooling looks exactly as pictured.*The texture is deep and feels nice when carried.*The cover is sturdy and holds up well to abuse.*It has a lovely leather smell that isn't pungent or odd in any way.*Oh, my gosh, it is gorgeous!Neutral:*The paper is meh. It's paper. It works, but there isn't anything that stands out about it.*The pen holder is on the large side, so I use a pen with a clip to hold on to the holder.Cons:*Nothing comes to mind.Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely! It makes a beautiful cover for my Hobonichi A5 Techo. It does fit my Techo loosely (fine for me, but those who want a snug fit might not love it). I've been using this for about six months and it has held up well to daily use. I didn't include a picture because a) the product picture is accurate and b) I've gotten some water on it, so it has some pale areas that I didn't feel represented the excellent condition it was in when new.

Beautiful journal, excellent quality! It’s absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations! I had been looking for a leather journal for a while. I ordered one with the string closure (because it was cheaper) and I was not satisfied. I then ordered this one and i love the pen and the snap closure! I get so many compliments on it!

Work of art Probably one of the most beautiful journals I've gotten in awhile. Such a wonderul addition to my collection. Mine is slightly darker which I 100% love! The leather is thick, smells divine, and the work put into the design is stunning. Feels so good in my hands and doesn't feel cheap and its not to flimsy. This is definitely going to be my new everyday whatever journal. The fact that it's refillable is such a huge bonus. You can buy more inserts from the company or find other ones on amazon. The pen is nothing special. Looks pretty though but its basic. It's free so can't complain to much. The paper itself is a bit on the thin side. I tested my favorite fountain pen and it did bleed just slightly...if you press hard while writing or you use a heavier ink you may experience more bleed through so finding a good insert that fits what your going to be using it for is something to consider. Overall this is a stunning journal for the price and I can't wait to put it to daily use. 10/10 recommend

Quality, 100% embossed leather journal ! Perfect size, lovely 100% leather diary ! And a great price for genuine leather….it is my “ go to “ bed side table “ best friend “ ! I do not use it as a journal, but rather a place for all of my contacts, phone numbers, e- mail addresses, all my passwords for everything technological in my life, and since I am 70 ( often finding technology to be intimidating !!) , I have a section of directions as to how to USE and make changes in the use of my cell phone, TVs and my Streaming services etc….it is like my personal Bible ! Very pretty, too and it’s size is only 6”x 8” …perfect for my bedside table…

Love it. It can be amazing gift because of the quality and beauty. I love how it feels, paper is good and I love to write in it. I think the size is just perfect. It is easy to carry it, in my purse. The best journal out there. This will last me the rest of my life.I love this journal so much. This is my 3rd journal I’ve bought from Moonster, I am a die hard fan of the quality they give.The journal smells like leather, which lets you know it’s real, it doesn’t smell like highly processed leather with chemicals.The leather is thick, has a little stiffness to it, but you know that it will continue to soften over time with use. It’s not rock hard with chemical processing.The embossing is BEAUTIFUL. The pictures do not do it justice at all.The paper it comes with is quality, though I really like the milled paper insert due to its texture for writing, but the paper absorbs pen ink very well, is thick to prevent bleeding through and the pen slides over it very smoothly, but still feeling some tactile feedback that is satisfying for someone like me who loves the process of writing.The pen they provide is QUALITY. I actually didn’t pay attention that a pen came with it. I am very picky with my pens, I like a saturation of color that is bold & heavy without smearing all over. I like some tactile feedback, not super smooth ballpoints. This pen offers that very well. The tip is sharp without creating indents in the paper but still giving clear, clean lines. The pen is also heavy but well balanced and thick, as someone with carpel tunnel this helps my grip and not hurting my wrist too much.Over all, extremely pleased with the product. It did take almost a month to get the journal, but I’m going to tell myself that Is because the journals are handmade. ;)
