Cheap and it works. It's cheap and it works. Sounds better than a normal headset. But got alot noise in the back of the sound. So its not amazing or great. It's just OK. Great battery life and quick charge.

I’m going to be comparing the Blue Yeti to the Tonor gaming Mic, and microphone from the Epos PC38x.I threw the PC38x into the mix because if I ever recommend any gaming headset for a controller, the only one that I can truly recommend is the PC38x as it has ‘audiophile’ audio quality, and a microphone that’s very good.It’s my go-to headset for when I travel and use my gaming laptop.I felt that it was a fair inclusion due to this particular microphone being designed around being an alternative to a traditional gaming headset.My first impressions of this were as follows:Boom arm clamp: I was absolutely blown away that they would include such a high quality, and heavy duty clamp. It’s effectively as heavy and durable as my professional level boom arm’s clamp…And I wish I had something like this back from before I upgraded my microphone setup, since the clamp would constantly give way.I don’t see that happening any time soon with a clamp of this quality. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the clamp’s cost is likely around the same if not more than the boom arm itself.Boom arm: The generic, cheap, boom arm found everywhere. It doesn’t have much versatility in its movements like a more expensive boom arm would, and it isn’t very strong. Thankfully, it’s weakness will be paired well with the next impression I had.Microphone: It’s extremely lightweight, which is a good sign from a cheap microphone. A lot of these cheaper microphones will have weights inserted inside of them. Companies will lie and say that it’s to help balance the microphone with boom arms, but in reality, companies do it to make something feel more solid and premium.This microphone isn’t lying about what it is or trying to hide behind a façade in terms of its costs.The worst possible outcome would be to have a needlessly, artificially heavy microphone paired with a weak boom arm that just results in you constantly having to readjust the arm.Overall, I’m extremely impressed with what you’re getting. I would have bet money against a clamp of this quality being included in a package as budget friendly as this.TESTING:First I’d like to note that both microphones will be tested with their gain set to approximately 10%, and the Windows mic/input levels set to 100.This way it should hopefully accurately represent what the microphone’s raw, unprocessed audio should sound like when being run through something like a controller (or even your computer).If you didn’t watch the clip, you would be glad to know that the quality difference between this and microphones and headsets triple its cost isn’t 3x better. It’s not superb quality, but it’s amazing quality for the price of this microphone.My only real gripes with this microphone is that it could have come with a threaded adapter (even a cheap plastic one) for other sized booms.The other one is that I wish you could turn the RGB off AND have a visual indicator that the microphone is muted. So unfortunately if you want to know whether or not you’re muted with a visual indicator, you’ll have to have the microphone set to the RGB mode whichQ substantially reduces the battery life.This isn’t enough for me to take away any stars though, since the value proposition of this bundle is outstanding.It’s a perfect gateway into streamer setups, or just ditching the world of overpriced gaming headsets from all the well-known gaming peripheral companies.

Horrible for static Hello I'm Senpai from MysenpaiTTV and today I'm going to be reviewing the toner gaming microphone and Bluetooth connection for the Xbox controller.Easy set up yes ✅Loud and clear ✅1 day charging battery ✅Cons✅You sound like freaking robot out of nowhere✅You sound static✅A loud static noise happens every now and then in your ear.✅Moving the microphone on a boom arm is horrible for you and teammates ears.✅Don't use this for streaming unless maybe I got a bad unit and they want to replace it.

This product is outstanding and made a huge difference from me. I 100% recommend this to any Xbox user. Within 10 seconds of using I got complimented for “sounding like a podcast”. Plug & Play and put away. BUY IT before the community finds it and the price sky rockets! I’m an Xbox user. Ive used the alternative method to achieve the same outcome, bought a splitter, bought the correct chords to run a usb mic meant for pc/playststion on my Xbox, it works, and it feels quite good to have your choice of high quality mics to use on your console, however I pick my mic up every time I’m done gaming because my younger son uses my console too and he has his own controller and headset, so that method sucks.This mic fixes everything! High quality sound, FAST set up, and enough tuning capability with only one knob to give your game chat the volume they need to hear you crisp and clear. Looks sweet with the lights going, and they respond when you mute it too to ensure you mute up. Literally just buy it, it plugs in and works immediately. I’m hoping this means other options will soon follow giving us a range of new features and price points, but for now, I would HIGHLY recommend this one again and again!

Satisfaction Bought for my little brother, as it's one of the few mics that are compatible with xbox.Asking him, he loves the looks and functionality. He said the output quality is better than his past headsets and its build quality reflect that if a premium microphone.He's now able to use any pair of wired headphones with this setup, where as before he was limited to using a "Gaming" headset, which makes things so much more convenient for him.Very easy to set up with the included boom arm, which also holds up and seems to be very sturdy. He can easily and comfortably swing the mic out of the way when not in use, and he doesn't have to worry about it falling over or coming detached.Overall, from what my little brother has said and from what I've seen, I would definitely recommend this set up for those that game on a desk. Has good build and sound quality and is very convenient.

An Excellent Must Have Mic for the Serious Gamers Large purchaser of gaming related tech and hardware here.This is an absolute MUST have for the Xbox gamer in your life or for yourself. This has impeccable clear and crisp audio quality. It gives a great audio feedback so you can hear how you sound into the mic and control the gain level. This transmits the audio directly as intended through Xbox's strict rules (since you can't plug in just any typical USB mic) through the auxiliary on the controller.This is a fantastic mic. I set mine up with a podcast boom arm with 0 issues and screwed right onto the standard piece and the setup is complete. It has 3 color changing modes that one would typically expect from RGB lit devices like pulse, fast change, and slow breath. I'm someone that wants to sound great while streaming and hear great sound quality. This helps me do both seamlessly due to Xbox's restrictions on microphone capabilities. The mic also is wireless technically, it is battery rechargeable, lasts a good solid 8-10 hours for me so far without the lights on which I don't need. It features a very sensitive and nice one tap to mute with red light indication for muting input so no one can hear when tapped. I recommend a splitter if anyone would like to hear both phone / pc audio and game audio simultaneously to go along with this as it will work. I appreciate the thoughtfulness overall and will have this brand on my radar in the future.Value for your money: At around $60 this is a high-end mic for a low end price. Great value, impeccable and impressive.Functionality: This mic fully met and exceeded expectations with use. The quality and clarity is fantastic.Weight: The mic is very light, it doesn't weigh down or cause my mic arm to drift down at all. Other podcast style microphones will be metal and heavy, this is a nice matte plastic.Cons:I almost don't want to say because I have been looking for a product like this for some time now, but as with all things there can be improvements. You cannot use the microphone at all while it is charging with the Type C. Highly suggest making changes to that and or making a totally wire powered version. I simply don't want to not have my mic even though it hasn't happened yet.
