I love this! I use it as a treasure box for my students. They love that it’s an actual chest and love when they get to look in it. Lo g enough to fit pencils. Tall enough to fit different prizes.

Cute little treasure chest for kids to play with or just for decor. Good quality too, I've hard this for a while now and it's still together.

Fragile. It is very cute I guess you can say however the handle is secured with thumb-tacks. I mean for the price its ok. Just expected something a little more sturdy.

Treasure chest for our grandson. We hve a little one who is almost 3. They came to our house one day and I have a box for our car keys by the door. My grandson goes,"Oh, Treasure." After they left I thought about how much he liked my wooden box and decided to look for something so that he would have a treasure box also. When I saw this one, I was thrilled. And it has a handle on the top to carry it around with him. I found a sweet treasure map with pictures on pinterest. I printed it and laminated it. But it was empty so I found a bag of plastic pirate coins also on Amazon to put in it. It had printout slips telling the new owner that they stand behind their products. I am thrilled with this wooden box. It is perfect and our baby loves it. They have a rottweiler at home so I told him he must not let his dog find a plastic coin out of his treasure box. It is so well made and so very perfect for him to put the treasures he loves finding outside. Worms, lizards, and a big green frog one evening. His mom is going to hate me for this one. HA!!

Very nice box I am very pleased with this little box. It is the perfect size for storing my small dog's ashes and a few of her personal items. I will be decorating the outside of it a little and lighting a permanent, rechargeable electric candle for her that will stay lit the rest of my life. The price is right and very competitive to hobby lobby and Michaels. It is made of wood that is stained a dark cherry. The lighter brown on the top and front is a thin layer of leather. It is pretty sturdy and I couldn't find any flaws in the workmanship. It came well packaged. I definitely recommend this box if you are looking for something a little bigger than the minis but not as big as others that are meant for storage of larger/more items.

Nice little chest for small treasures or display. I bought this to put together a birthday present for my wife. We like fantasy and RPG's and that sort of thing, so I made a potion chest for her. I used some old glass bottles that I dug up while landscaping our yard, filled them with colored water and lit with LED's. This chest was the perfect size for the bottles I had and they look great once I made a little rack to hold them inside.The box is not super sturdy, which was a bonus for me as I had to pull it apart a little bit to assemble everything inside (it's held together with small nails or staples). It's great for a decoration, or you could use it as a desk organizer or something. Although my children were quite taken with it and wanted something similar for playing pirates, I would not recommend it for young kids as I don't think it would hold up to active play. As a small treasure chest for a careful child's special things, it would probably be fine.One very nice feature is that hinges are designed so that the lid does not open all the way back. The lid opens far enough to completely access the interior, but does not flop back 180 degrees, so it's perfect for displaying open with things inside.

Very nice I have the bigger model and needed one a bit small. These are very nice. Perfect for holding my special treasures. I recommend.

Love this Chest - Great look size and value I got the small chest and thought it was a great deal. I purchased this to hold some grooming tools for my dog as well as her toothpaste and tooth brush. I wanted something that would hold these items but be attractive on a little shelf in a spot where I like to groom her.This turned out to be perfect. I was super impressed with the way this looked and functioned, and for the price this was an awesome value.The chest stays open nicely when I am using it without the top making the it topple over.Very well made and attractive, plus functional.
