Not enough pegs, so capacity is small, wheels don't roll well when rack is full The quality on this one is lacking. It's not very heavy duty at all. The wheels are just attached via a plastic clip that snaps into place. When the rack is fully loaded and heavy, the wheels don't works great, they catch and don't roll easily at all. It is the correct fit and shape for our dishwasher, the wheels don't catch at all when the rack is less than half full, so I know it is the poor quality of flimsy plastic of the wheels. There are also not very many pegs on this one compared to one we replaced it with, so it only holds about half what our other one did, despite being the same size. This works if you're desperate, but if you are looking for a high quality, well made replacement rack, this is not it.

Works and is made well, but not a part for part replacement I got this to replace the lower rack of my older Whirlpool dishwasher with the model number DU84OCNDB5. My dishwasher is over 25 years old and a lot of the stems on the lower rack were breaking off, so much so it was hard loading bowls and plates there.A search on the internet and Whirlpools website revealed that the part# W10161215 is what I needed to replace my lower rack. Looking at the images I could see this wasn't a direct part for part replacement, but the measurements were the same so I figured it would fit.It did fit, but I did have to make some adjustments to my cutlery basket to get it to fit. My original rack had no vertical stems in the middle for the cutlery basket. This new one did. I thought first about cutting the stems off, but I figured it would be easier modify my basket to fit so I did that. There was also a plastic tube that was in the middle of the old rack that the basket sits around. This just twists off and I put it on the new one. The basket then went right on.When I received this rack, the wheels were already attached. All but one of them was attached incorrectly though, so I had to fiddle with them to get them on right, not a big deal, but I could see where this would confuse some as I think the instructions didn't include information on taking the wheel trolleys on/off.After all that, it slid right into my dishwasher. The door shuts and seals as it should, so no issues. The wheels on the new one don't roll quite as well as my old one, but maybe over time, they'll loosen up. The good thing about that though is I salvaged the wheel trolleys from my old one (that surprisingly are smooth as butter) and will put them on this new rack if I feel so inclined in the future. The ones that came on it work just fine though, just not as smooth as the oe ones.I had no issue with it moving in and out no matter how loaded up it was. Overall it works just fine, although as pointed out earlier, it is not a direct part for part replacement and some modifications may be in order to get it to work with your cutlery basket, depending on your model of course. I plan to eventually get a different cutlery basket, like the ones that go on the side, but it works just fine for now.Also, compared to the same part number as on whirlpools website, this one was about 100 dollars cheaper so it's a pretty good deal.

Silverware rack does not fit where intended. Silverware rack does not fit on the side where it is designed to go because the row of tines are blocking it. Had to move the tray to the back where the adjustable tines are thus loosing the adjustable space.😔

Make sure you research the correct part # before you order Fit perfect. Dish rack is a little stouter than the oem. For people who are on here complaining about it not fitting correctly, make sure you do your research and order the correct part number. You can't blame incorrect fit on an incorrect part.
